infinity is a funny concept with it all other numbers lost there meaning (0 is not a number). one of my favorite things to contemplate is infinity. others would disagree with me but i believe that any fraction of infinity is infinity thusly there are many types of infinity. there is the type of infinity that has no beginning such as a geometric line there are ones that have a beginning such as a ray. then there are ones that contain sub infinities such as a plane containing infinite number of lines. then there is the infinitely small such as a point the ultimate 0 now here comes the interesting part if time and space are infinite and our chance of being is obviously non zero then we have / will exist an infinite number of times in fact if space is infinite then right now you exist and infinite amount of times. this really annoys a lot of people who can't think in a box with no edges. but that leads to an interesting question what possibilities are non zero? there could be a "you" out there that made a different choice and is leading an entirely different life. ultimately this discussion leads us to fate which the only thing preventing it would be a true random that given the exact same conditions will produce a different result. I hope to one day find this "chaos" cause only in that will i find true beauty. which leads me to the "soul" are we just the ball of neurons and synapses or is there something beyond the physical that make us us. right of the bat all religions explanations are out, magic is just that which science has yet to fully explain. even if a god existed "he" would be bound by rules and restrictions of "his" realm and there would be a cause and effect explanation for everything that "he" does. if there is a "soul" it would either be in a form we cannot detect or in a place we can not observe. but how do we gain proof of this "soul". well thats the complicated part i suppose we would have to be able to do something that that would not be possible with out a "soul". I wish to search for this because my existence bugs me it feels like i am more but that could be a product of my brain. i doubt i will ever find this proof i desire until death the end of my incessant curiosity."the curious cat awaits death to cure him of the curse of curiosity", but who knows stranger things have happened maybe i will find proof of this "soul" and be satisfied.
